How my teaching has changed
I've been teaching yoga for 8 years — over 500 hours a year — and running retreats for the last 6. In that time my classes have changed. What started more dynamic has become slower, more restorative, more attentive to the nervous system.
That shift didn't come from a trend. It came from watching what actually helps the women who walk into my studio.
Most of the women I teach are in their mid forties, fifties and beyond — navigating hormonal change, long-held stress and tiredness that sleep doesn't fix. So we work with support, breath and attention rather than effort and push.
