One Nervous System. One Body. One You.

January often arrives with pressure. There are new goals to chase, routines to overhaul, and a better version of yourself to become. Yet many of us begin the year already depleted, carrying the same tired body and overstretched nervous system we brought through December.

Begin Gently offers a different way in.

Rather than pushing into the new year, you'll spend a morning settling into it, slowly, with care and intention.

This is time set aside for you. An opportunity to step away from everyday demands, reconnect with your body, listen to yourself and consider what you want the year ahead to hold.

What to expect

Regulate

Guided Meditation & Breathwork

We'll begin by arriving in the space, allowing ourselves to settle and becoming aware of the breath. Through guided meditation and accessible breathing practices, you'll be invited to slow down, quiet the mental noise and create a greater sense of calm and presence.

There is nothing to achieve or get right. Simply an opportunity to notice how you feel and give yourself permission to arrive just as you are.

Restore

Gentle, Restorative Yoga

From here, we'll move into a gentle, restorative yoga practice. Using supportive props, cushions and blankets, we'll explore comfortable, fully supported postures that encourage the body to soften and release unnecessary tension.

The practice is slow and accessible, with options to suit your individual needs. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

This isn't about stretching further or pushing harder. It's about exploring what happens when you give your body time, support and space to rest.

Reconnect

A Moment Outdoors

We'll take a short five-minute break outside, weather permitting, to breathe in the fresh air, notice the world around us and experience a little space away from our usual surroundings.

Sometimes, stepping outside, feeling the air on our skin and looking up from our everyday routines is enough to bring us back to the present moment.

We'll then gather together inside again, carrying that sense of space into the next part of our morning.

Intention

Reflection & Intention Setting for 2027

With time to settle and reflect, we'll explore what you'd like to carry forward into 2027, what you're ready to release and what deserves more of your time and attention.

Rather than setting rigid goals or creating another list of resolutions, this is an opportunity to consider something more personal: How do I want to feel in the year ahead?

Through guided reflection and intention-setting, you'll have space to explore what matters to you and identify the qualities, experiences and small everyday choices you'd like to nurture.

There is no right answer, and nothing needs to be figured out in one morning. This is simply a starting point, shaped around you.

Nourish

Lunch & Connection

We'll close our morning together around the table, sharing a nourishing lunch prepared with gut-brain health in mind.

Food is an important part of how we care for ourselves, and eating together offers something beyond nourishment alone: time for conversation, connection and the pleasure of sharing a meal without rushing.

It's an opportunity to enjoy the company of others, exchange thoughts if you wish, or simply appreciate being part of a welcoming space.

A Moment Together

Sometimes, stepping outside, feeling the air on our skin and looking up from our everyday routines is enough to bring us back to the present moment.

Restore

There is nothing to achieve here. Only rest, taken seriously.

A different way to begin the year

You don't need to arrive feeling calm, know what your intentions are or have any experience of meditation or yoga.

Come as you are.

Come on your own and enjoy a few hours dedicated to your wellbeing, or bring a friend, sister, mother or daughter and share the experience together.

My intention is to create a space where you can feel supported, take something meaningful from the morning and begin the year with a little more awareness of what you need and what matters to you.

Because beginning again doesn't have to mean doing more.

Sometimes, it begins with giving yourself the time and care you so often give to others.
