Dwa Chandra — where Balinese heritage meets luxury

A week for the whole self

Not a standard yoga holiday.

Earth & Moon is a carefully structured NeuroWellness immersion — grounded in evidence-informed practice and woven through with the spiritual richness of Balinese culture.

Over seven days, you will be guided to down-regulate stress responses, restore cognitive clarity, and return to a rhythm that feels genuinely sustainable. Every element — from the morning practices to the ceremonial experiences to the food on your plate — has been chosen with your nervous system in mind.

Bali's ancient landscape does the rest. The lush valleys, sacred springs, and temple culture of Gianyar create conditions for healing that are simply not available anywhere else.

Who this is for

For anyone drawn towards…

Earth & Moon is open to both women and men. This is a journey for anyone who feels the pull towards:

  • Deep rest and genuine nervous system recovery
  • Mental clarity and cognitive restoration
  • A meaningful connection with Balinese spiritual heritage
  • Luxury in its truest sense — not performance, but presence
  • A Full Moon ceremony and sacred ritual in its natural home
  • Returning home genuinely transformed, not merely rested

No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed. What matters is the willingness to slow down.

The retreat experience

Three shalas, one rhythm.

Sessions are held across three stunning open-air yoga shalas — Dwa Chandra, Bali Hai and The Heritage — each offering a different quality of space and light throughout the day.

  • Mindfulness practices to enhance focus and emotional regulation
  • Gentle somatic movement to release stored tension
  • Breathwork for nervous system balance and mental clarity
  • Restorative yoga to encourage deep relaxation and recovery
  • Neuro-supportive nutrition to nourish brain and body
  • Reflective practices building inner awareness and resilience

Woven through all of this is Bali itself — the birdsong at dawn, the smell of incense from nearby temples, the sound of the river gorge below. The environment is not a backdrop. It is part of the practice.

The Full Moon Ceremony

Purnama — the peak of illumination.

On the night of the Full Moon, we gather for a ceremony guided by a local Balinese priest — a practice rooted in centuries of tradition, designed to mark a moment of release, intention and renewal.

In Balinese cosmology, the Full Moon (Purnama) represents the peak of spiritual illumination — a time when what has been hidden becomes visible, and what has been held tightly can finally be released. This ceremony is open to all and requires nothing of you except your presence.

The yin and feminine energies honoured in this ritual live within all of us — in every person, regardless of gender. This is an invitation to access a softer, more receptive part of yourself that daily life rarely makes space for.

Come as you are. Leave lighter than you arrived.

Sacred experiences

Woven into the week.

River Blessing

At the private river gorge bordering the property, a Balinese priest guides you through a traditional river blessing — a deeply moving ritual of purification, gratitude and reconnection with the natural world.

Sacred Spring Immersion

Bali's healing waters have been used for purification and ceremony for thousands of years. Your immersion is an experience of stillness, surrender, and deep nervous system restoration.

Flower Mandala Offering

You will create and offer a traditional Balinese flower mandala as part of the water blessing ritual — a meditative, sensory practice that anchors the experience in beauty and intention.

The property — Dwa Chandra

Held between two private villas.

Nestled between two private villas overlooking ancient gorges and lush Balinese jungle, Dwa Chandra offers the rare combination of genuine luxury and genuine calm.

The property is designed around an understanding that environment shapes nervous system state. Natural materials, open-air living, the sound of water, proximity to the jungle — every architectural choice here supports rest and cognitive recovery.

  • Infinity pools overlooking heritage jungle landscapes
  • Open-air living spaces designed for connection with nature
  • Jungle pathways, sacred springs and gorge views throughout
  • Peaceful massage areas for deep relaxation
  • Close proximity to temples, rice plantations and cultural sites

Accommodation

Every room, its own room.

Each room across the two private villas is individually designed, blending Balinese craftsmanship with natural materials and serene luxury. No two rooms are identical — and every room includes a private terrace with jungle or gorge views.
